The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 754.1 and a 52-week low of Rs 528.05.

"Japanese market rebounded from a sharp fall in the previous session because the U.S. market jumped overnight," said Takatoshi Itoshima, strategist at Pictet Asset Management.

The blue-chip CSI300 index was up 0.39%, with its financial sector sub-index higher by 0.82%, the real-estate index up 1.66% and the healthcare sub-index up 0.25%.

The Relative Strength Index of the stock stood at 40.01 on Wednesday.

"Health stocks are certainly on the consciousness of investors," said Brad Smoling, managing director of Smoling Stockbroking.

Following the better than expected listing, a majority of experts have suggested investors to exit Vedant Fashions stock.

Promoters held 59.47 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2021, while FII and DII ownership stood at 26.51 per cent and 2.45 per cent, respectively.

The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 1674.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 1274.15.
