​​They revised their year-end forecast for the main U.S. equities benchmark to 4,700 index points, from 4,900 previously. The strategists now expect earnings-per-share to grow an annual 5% to $221 in 2022, down from a previous estimate of 8% growth to $226.

“In the next two, three months, we will still have a lot of opportunities to buy. There is no fear of missing out, there is no hurry to jump on to the first opportunity. We may have to pay a slightly higher price but that is still better than going all out now. We are going with small allocations.”

“Coming to largecap versus midcap, my view is going to be largecap first because right now much uncertainty and geopolitical tensions are there as well as lots of events or impacts. One has to have a largecap tilted portfolio for a few months till the uncertainties fade away from the sight.”

It said the foreign exchange market, money market and repo market would open at 0700 GMT on those days.
