The global cryptocurrency market cap today dropped lower to $1.72 trillion, down about 3 per cent in the last 24 hours. Total cryptocurrency trading volume jumped as much as 16 per cent to $62.45 billion.

Kotak Institutional Equities finds risk-reward reasonably balanced in sectors such as banks and diversified financials, capital goods, real estate and specialty chemicals.

“Already we have 70-75 companies in the pipeline which will list over the next two-three months and each time when we reach a milestone we have a larger number of companies waiting in the wings. So it is a great initiative in that it is allowing young companies – what I call the true Bharat companies – to come in and grow.”

In an exchange filing, Tech Mahindra said that the acquisition will bolster it’s digital solutions and services in automotive consulting, design, development, and implementation in areas like ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), EPM (Enterprise Performance Management), RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things).

"The FPO comprises equity shares of face value of Rs 2 each aggregating to Rs 4,300 crore. The issue also includes a reservation of up to 10,000 equity shares for subscription by eligible employees. If such placement is completed, the follow-on size will be reduced," Ruchi Soya said in a statement.

The dividend payout will be Rs 2,220.19 crore with a record date of March 22.

The Nifty Auto index was trading 0.96 per cent down at 9883.5.

The fintech platform of the company, BankSe, has an arrangement with 21 banks and financial firms to offer loan products.

The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 171.35 and low of Rs 125.2.
