Chrys Capital IX would be the largest by an India-specific fund manager

Following the development, shares of Inox Leisure soared 17.83 per cent to hit a high of Rs 412.20 on BSE. PVR climbed 10 per cent to hit a high of Rs 1,662.20.

A total of 18,076 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:46AM (IST).

In the 50-share pack Nifty, ONGC was the biggest gainer, up 2.31 per cent. Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, M&M, Eicher Motors, Coal India, SBI, Bajaj Auto and Bharat Petroleum were among other gainers.

The Nifty Pharma index was trading 0.95 per cent down at 14153.6.
