Future Lifestyle Fashions Ltd zoomed 13.81 per cent, Future Supply Chain Solutions Ltd rallied 9.52 per cent

Tata Steel trades at a PE of 4.7 times compared with a 10-year average of 13.2 times, suggesting a 64 per cent discount. Nifty50, on the other hand, trades at a trailing 12-month P/E of 25.4 times, a 22 per cent premium over its long-term average of 20.8 times.

Telecom-to-oil major Reliance Industries, which has the biggest sway in Nifty, was down about 2 per cent. It also hurt investors the most as the fall clipped Rs 33,000 crore from its market cap.

“Reliance might not be the biggest winner or multi bagger, but it is a good one to have in the portfolio. Their businesses are good and growing very fast. As it gets scale, it gets better.”
