ITC shares have been dormant for a long time, even when its peers were delivering multibagger returns. Analysts, though, were unfazed saying its fundamentals are intact and the stock deserves better valuations.

A total of 1,345 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:34PM (IST).

In the spot market, highest purity gold was sold at Rs 47,487 per 10 gram while silver was priced at Rs 62,136 per kg on Tuesday, according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association.

As of 30-Jun-2021, promoters held 46.86 per cent stake in the company, while FIIs held 11.26 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 8.47 per cent.

The stock traded at a P/E multiple of 61.94, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 6.51.

Mukul Agrawal also bought a significant stake in the latest debutant, Paras Defence and Space Technologies, during the quarter.

“Momentum of global recovery has weakened as a consequence of the Delta variant and the supply disruptions that it has led to. All of that has lasted longer than was expected. So, we have a small downgrade for the world as a whole.”

The stock traded at a P/E multiple of 15.78, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 1.66.

Shares of Ami Organics were listed on September 14, 2021 and the company delivered a listing pop of 49 per cent, making its debut at Rs 910.

At 09:50 hours (IST), the company’s scrip traded at Rs 701.65, registering a gain of 4.3% from previous close on the National Stock Exchange.
