The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 89.02 points, or 0.25 per cent, at the open to 35,520.32.

"Undertaking such unregulated activity including dealing (i.e., advisory, distribution and execution/ implementation services) in digital gold by investment Advisers is not in accordance with the provisions...of the Sebi Act, 1992 read with the Sebi (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013," the regulator said in a statement.

The company’s revenue from operations jumped 54 per cent on-year to Rs. 109.16 crore in the reported quarter.

NII increased 9 per cent to Rs 1854 crore due to a 32 basis points improvement in net interest margin (NIM) to 3.02 per cent in the quarter ended September as cost of funds fell to 3.88 per cent in September 2021 from 4.73 per cent last year.

The transportation company reported a 21.4 per cent on-year growth in revenue from operations to Rs 1,823.9 crore, which was also below Street’s estimate.

“We priced our vaccine in conjunction with the government. Most of it was at Rs 200 which the government was buying it for. We hardly sold anything in the private market because as everyone was getting it for free, no one wanted to pay for it. ”

The company reported a consolidated profit of Rs 605 crore for the quarter compared to Rs 852 crore last year. Revenue grew to Rs 7,096 crore compared to Rs 5,350 crore a year ago. The stock of Asian Paints dipped 6.33 per cent to Rs 2,968 on the BSE as of 2:30 pm Thursday.
