Barring the dollar-pegged stable coins, all of the top digital tokens were trading higher. Terra gained more than 6 per cent, followed by a 3 per cent rise in Bitcoin. Avalanche and Dogecoin added 2 per cent each.

The company saw a 105 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase in GMV for the first two months of the quarter at Rs 1,65,333 crore ($22.2 billion), it said in a regulatory filing on BSE. GMV is the merchant payments processed through all instruments (Paytm Wallet, Paytm Payments bank account, other banks net banking, credit and debit cards and UPIs.

While individual loans are expected to do well, business loans still face asset quality concerns. “Within the NBFC-Retail segment, personal credit, microfinance and gold loans are likely to be the primary growth drivers as other traditional asset segments-vehicle finance and business credit are still facing headwinds because of supply constraints and asset quality concerns" said Manushree Saggar, vice president, financial sector ratings, Icra.
