The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 2587.95 and a 52-week low of Rs 1784.15.

The Tata Group-owned stock climbed 5 per cent during the trade on Monday, closing in on the 52-week high levels it hit in October last year. The counter traded at Rs 468.40 on BSE.

RBI’s new guidelines to make microfinance stronger

Unlike the earlier definition that distinguished between rural and urban, RBI has now set a common household limit of Rs 300,000 for loans to qualify as microfinance.

The Hang Seng Index closed 2.1% higher at 22,502.31 points, its highest close since March 1. The Hong Kong China Enterprises Index gained 3.1% to 7,770.98.

“If you remove the SUVs, Maruti Suzuki’s market share is at record high at the moment at about 66% and that is really good. However, if SUVs are included, then the market share comes down because in SUVs, we are among the weaker wicket as far as the market share is concerned.”
